Week 4 - Creating Empathy Map

This week started with a presentation in class as we demonstrated our work so far. The research we conducted, the highlights of the interviews, the needs we identified, and all of the data and insights from the previous four weeks. We summed it up with the "How might we" that was included in our work and got feedback from our mentors on what we needed to focus on more and how to do it.

After the presentation, we discussed with our mentors how to specify our users' ages and attributes. We decided to determine the age range of the children we were about to interview and to include the children in the interviews, not only their parents. We realized that interviewing children at those ages would only be fruitful if we knew how to ask the right questions and lead the children without their parents' interference.

During the week, we met on Zoom in order to keep working. We had few challenges to face this week: first, we had to keep trying to accurately define our needs and answer the "How might we?" question due to our latest conclusions; and second, as we got to the middle of the double-diamond process, we had to define our empathy map, which will hopefully lead us to find the best solution to our problem.

Us presenting the first diamond.
