Weeks 7 & 8 - And The Best Solution... Doesn't Exsist?

In the last 2 weeks, we worked hard to find a real solution that will satisfy all the needs and answer our "How might we?" question. We discussed the four-step flow in class, which is supposed to help us direct ourselves to our solution by better understanding the steps that our users will take.

In our first meeting after the class, we started pointing out some ideas we had for the solution, but we got stuck over and over again. As we began to explore and research different ideas, we quickly discovered that each of them came with its own set of challenges and problems. We encountered roadblocks at every turn, and it seemed like no matter what we tried, we couldn't find a viable solution. It was a frustrating and disheartening process, but we refused to give up. We continued to brainstorm, research, and test different approaches, and finally, after all of our hard work and perseverance and only after few more days at the next time we met, we were able to identify a solution that seemed promising.

We understood that the solution and product we found might also not be the perfect idea, but we know that it will give the users a good experience and will sure solve some of the needs we found in the last two months.

To conclude the last 2 weeks, our group has been working hard to bring our IoT product to fruition. We have been focused on refining the design and functionality of the prototype, as well as identifying and addressing any issues that have come up during the testing process. Despite the many challenges and obstacles that we have faced along the way, we are proud of the progress that we have made and are confident that our product will be a success. We are excited to continue working towards the final stages of development and to eventually bring our solution to the experts panel we will have next lecture.
